Images & music from the creative journal of a fellow wanderer of the Cosmos – musician and graphic designer all my life, I find art of all forms the most appropriate channel to communicate thoughts, observations or spontaneous “insights” into the reality and essential experiences of human life. about the images

Mostly mixed media and digitally inclined artworks and designs, that usually spring out of a personal need for visual introspection on the “mysteries” of human life – both internal and external.

The materials I use vary – from photographic images, scanned drawings & textures, to vector elements, 3D scenery and models, all digitally combined in image editing software, according to the needs of some initial (or emerging) subject matter.
As with my music endeavors there is always an overall experimental & explorative spirit throughout the process, which helps keep it lively & “surprising” and the final result outside strict stylistic molds.

Through the imagery I often aim to invite reflection by exploring visual symbolism in order to communicate emotions and ideas, but I do also indulge in the uncomplicated pleasure of the interplay between form & color in more abstract designs on occasion.

about the music

Although I deeply appreciate and thoroughly enjoy all visual arts – which lead me to become a graphic designer – it was always the unique immaterial and therefore “mystical” quality of music that captivated & touched my soul.

Through the years of playing (guitar & electric bass) in various bands & styles – ranging from psychedelic, rock, blues to trip-hop and electronica, I gradually outgrew the notion that “good” music can fall into specific categories or genres.
Freedom (as free as sound is) to mix and match, to experiment, in order to communicate emotions and “explore” the human psyche seems imperative to me. Fortunately the digital era brought with it new tools, further inspiration and a necessary rejuvenation of the music-creation process.

After briefly being a member of the Greek trip-hop band “Freedom of speech” and contributing to the band’s first CD release in 2010, I currently work on various projects, both personal as well as in collaboration with fellow musicians & artists, including music production for short films (documentary & fiction) and sound design for theatrical plays or performances.

Most of the music I produce doesn’t fall into specific categories or genres, and even when it does those will differ substantially from project to project, ranging from post rock to electronic or even purely experimental sound-scapes.
